Hello!
My name is Clio Gevirtz. For money I work as a creative producer on corporate branded content, short documentaries, and commercials. For fun I am a writer, director, producer, and editor. I’m currently looking for international residencies, collaboration opportunities, and any paid work along the way!
About me
My name is Clio Gevirtz, and I have been making films since I was 13. I grew up in San Francisco, where I participated in SF Art and Film for 5 years. There, I made several short films that went on to festivals nationwide, and I met the people who are still my primary crew, more than 10 years later.
I graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Film Studies, where I spent my time sitting in dark theaters trying to stay awake.
After graduation I worked in production in New York as an assistant director, associate producer, set PA, office PA, director’s intern, and videographer on commercial, TV, and narrative feature projects. During the pandemic I moved back to San Francisco, where I worked remotely as an associate producer for Meta, Byline Studio, and several other freelance companies. I continued to write, direct, and edit my own short films and produce and crew on others.
I’m currently traveling the world with my partner + cinematographer! We are open to work, workshops, and collaborations.
